We have developed a project management tool for BIM
- Before the BIM modelling process of a complex can start, it is necessary to gather all necessary “input”. For example: floor plans, drawings, pictures, point clouds, etc. For this, we create a “case”, for the modeler to work on a specific complex.
- If the input is complete, the BIM modeler starts to work. When ready, they can create a submission in the PM tool. The corresponding IFC file(s) of the submission are directly available in the 3D viewer.
- If the work is accepted, it can be exported back to the asset management environment.
If you already had an existing 3D model, you can use the viewer for revision requests. Select the elements involved and make a request to the BIM modeler. You can link this to a new case, or an existing one.
The PM tool gives you full control. Finalized submissions by the BIM modeler are directly visible in our viewer. If accepted, they are transferred to the right Complex. Of course, a full version history is always kept.
For more information, please check the “project management and revisions” demo on our demo website:
IRP bases all of its web development on the ISO 19650 standard for the development and full lifecycle of buildings. Formerly known as the BSI 1192-X. This standard has now been almost fully implemented in BIMkeeper.
